Cyber security specialist, Arcturus, has announced that its penetration testing services have been certified by CREST, demonstrating the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality levels of service when testing and evaluating the security defences of its clients.
The certification, which acts as a benchmark for quality within the global penetration testing industry, was achieved following Arcturus’ demonstration of outstanding quality within its operating procedures, data security, and approach to testing.
This achievement follows the appointments of three new security consultants to the rapidly growing Arcturus team, following new projects in a broad range of sectors, from fintech and financial services to the education sector.
This certification demonstrates the strength of Arcturus’ security offering as part of the Cyberfort Group, which also includes data centre and managed service provider, The Bunker, the most secure data centre in the UK, and cyber security consultancy, Agenci. The Group brings together leaders in the field of data security to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end security offering.
Simon Fletcher, managing director at Arcturus, said: “Becoming CREST-approved is no mean feat for a company that is just six months old. In such a short time, we’ve put together a team of some of the most talented pentesters in the industry, and this accreditation demonstrates our success in providing comprehensive security testing services to our customers.
“Our growth in new projects highlights the increasing demand for adaptable and high-quality penetration testing services in every sector, and we’re committed to continuing to deliver and exceed the level of service that our clients need.”
CREST is a global cyber security regulatory body which offers membership and training in order to create a global standard of service within the technical cyber security industry.
